Questions
How does the process work?
The process is seamless: Choose your favorite collection, select your guest count, and book online. We deliver your complete collection with an easy styling guide. You set your table, host your gathering, and pack everything back up when you're finished. We pick it up the following day.
How long do I keep the collection?
Collections are rented for up to 24 hours unless otherwise arranged.
How do I reserve my date?
Email info@hostathomeatx.com to book or submit a form. Payment in full is required at booking to reserve your date.
What is the timing for delivery and pickup?
We typically deliver the morning of your event or the day prior, depending on availability. Pickup is scheduled for the day following your event. We will coordinate a specific window that works for you.
What happens if something gets damaged?
We understand that accidents happen! Minor stains are covered, but significant stains, damage, breakage, or missing items will incur a replacement fee.
A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for the duration of your rental and may be charged for damaged, broken, or missing items in accordance with your booking agreement. Full details are provided in our damage policy.
What do I need to provide as a host?
You provide the table, chairs, food and drinks. We provide the beautiful stuff. Your collection includes everything listed in your selected package, plus an easy styling guide to help you recreate the look at home. No washing required. Simply clear everything and repack it in the provided containers.
Is setup included?
No. Host at Home is designed as a drop off experience. We deliver your collection and you set and style your table using the included styling guide.
Want us to do it for you? Full Service Styling is available separately for an additional fee.
Can I customize a collection?
Our collections are intentionally curated as complete designs, so the core collection pieces cannot be swapped or customized. Select personalized details and upgrades may be available depending on the collection.
Are tables and chairs included?
Tables and chairs are not included with our standard Host at Home collections. You’ll need to provide seating and a table appropriate for your guest count.
Can I change my guest count?
Absolutely, as long as additional place settings are available. Contact us as soon as possible if your guest count changes and we’ll confirm availability and any additional cost.
Will my collection look exactly like the photos?
Your collection will closely reflect the photos shown on our website. Occasionally, an item may be unavailable due to damage, replacement needs or inventory. When necessary, we may substitute a similar piece that complements the collection’s overall design and aesthetic. Don’t worry, your table will still be beautifully styled and true to the collection you selected.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Because each Host at Home collection is reserved specifically for your date, all payments are nonrefundable.
Need to change your date? We’re happy to accommodate one complimentary reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to collection availability. Reschedule requests made less than 7 days before your event have a rescheduling fee. Less than 7 days: $50 rescheduling fee
Less than 48 hours: $100
If Host at Home is unable to fulfill your booking for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund.
How much space do I need for my table?
Before booking, please make sure you have a table and enough seating for your selected guest count. Host at Home does not provide space planning or furniture setup as part of the standard drop off experience.
